We are pleased to support a number of community organizations. Each year, the utility selects a group (or groups) to make worthy contributions that will help meet a need in the community.
2012 Community Contributions
New Solar Panels at Boscobel High School
With the help of Boscobel Utilities, and WPPI Energy, Boscobel Schools will be taking part in “Going Green”. The High School will be able to use all of the energy produced by the Solar Panels which will help cut annual utility costs. Following are the websites that are available to view the amount of energy produced by the system.
The Blaine Theatre Project
Financial Assistance provided for the Blaine Theatre New Marquee!! Also, Boscobel Utilities assisted with the electrical upgrades for the remodeling project.
Sonix Tool Company, Inc received $1,620.00 for lighting.

2011 Community Contributions
Town & Country Sanitation was given an energy incentive reimbursement of $1,260.00 for the installation of new energy efficient lighting at thier new welding shop on Park Street. This program is administered through WPPI Energy, our wholesale electricity provider.
Other 2011 Contributions include: United Methodist Church, $108.0 for lighting, Boscobel Area Health Care $2,000.00 for lighting and $1,500.00 for the Blaine Theatre Project. These contributions are another benefit of your local not-for-profit utility working for you!
